Delete Your Account

You can delete your B-Side account at any time. Deleting your account is permanent and removes your personal data from our systems, as described below. B-Side is operated by Berkeley Labs LLC.
Delete in the app (recommended)
- Open B-Side and go to the Account tab.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm. Your account and associated data are deleted right away — this can't be undone.
Can't access the app?
Email hello@trybside.com from the email address on your account with the subject "Delete my account." We'll verify your request and delete your account and associated data within 30 days.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently remove:
- Your account and email/login details
- Your taste profile, seed artists, and recommendation feedback
- Your weekly radars, recommendations, and saved lists
- Connected music-service links (Spotify, Apple Music, Last.fm) and any imported listening data
- Your subscription-status record and notification tokens
What may be retained
- Playlists exported to your own music account. Any playlist you exported to your personal Spotify or Apple Music stays in your account and is yours to keep or delete there. Playlists B-Side created on its shared service account are automatically removed within 30 days.
- Limited records required by law or to prevent fraud and abuse, kept only as long as necessary.
- Aggregated or anonymized data that no longer identifies you.
Cancelling your subscription
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a paid subscription, because billing is handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play. To stop future charges, cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings before deleting.
